Visas


Citizens of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia need entry visa for Jamaica.

Citizens of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia do not need entry visa and can stay up to 30 days or less if in position of with valid US, Canadian, UK or Schengen visa and proof of vaccination against Measles, Rubella & Polio.
Citizens of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia can receive entry visa for Jamaica at the point of entry.
The applicants who need visa:

  • must be in a position to support him / herself and dependents
  • if desirous of entering the service of an employer in the island, must produce a permit in writing for engagement, issued to the employer by the Ministry of Labour
  • should not have been sentenced in a foreign country for any extradition crime within the meaning of the Extraditions Acts 1870 and 1906
  • should not be the subject of a deportation order in force under the Aliens Law, Chapter 9 or under the Aliens Admission Deportation Regulation Law (now repealed)
  • should not have been prohibited from landing by the Minister of National Security and Justice
  • must be in possession of a visa unless exempted from this requirement under any of the prescribed regulations
  • must have applied for and obtained permission from the Government of Jamaica if entry is desired for other than tourist purposes
  • if under 18 years of age and not accompanied by parent or guardian, child must have written and verified confirmation indicating that he/she is allowed to leave country
  • must fulfil other requirements as may be prescribed.
List of required documents to apply for a tourist visa:

  • A valid passport with at least six (6) months validity
  • Visa application form completed in duplicate
  • Two (2) passport-sized photographs
  • Copy of travel itinerary showing a return flight and or return ticket
  • Adequate information regarding accommodation in Jamaica
  • Sufficient funds for the visit (approx. 50 USD per day)
  • Visa fee in cash – 45 euros
List of required documents to apply for a visa for entry if possessing work permit:

  • A valid passport (at least six (6) months validity)
  • Visa application form completed in duplicate
  • Copy of Work Permit
  • Two (2) passport-sized photographs
  • Copy of travel itinerary showing a return flight and or return ticket
  • Adequate information regarding accommodation in Jamaica
  • Sufficient funds for the visit (approx. 50 USD per day)
  • Visa fee in cash – 45 euros

Reception: Working days between 10am and 2pm. Deadline for issuing visa is 5 working days.
Consulate of Jamaica does not guarantee issuing visa to all citizens.
