The Consulate of Jamaica in Belgrade continued with a series of activities to mark the 60th anniversary of Jamaica's independence. In this sense, "The Wailers" concert in the Botanical Garden "Jevremovac" is the second in a series of events organized by the Consulate.

July 15, 2022 will be remembered as the day when" The Wailers", the band of the legendary Bob Marley, gave the visitors of Jevremovac an unforgettable evening. The gathering of reggae music lovers, the diplomatic choir and fans of Jamaica began as early as 6 p.m. Don Minott, a Jamaican, with Sound System introduced the Hornsman Coyote's excellent performance. After the song "Još ima nade" („There is still hope“) which Nemanja sang together with Jovan from the Del Arno band, Acting Ambassador of Jamaica in Berlin, Ms. Denise Sealey addressed the audience and, together with Honorary Consul Mirko Miljuš, practically announced the performance of the famous "The Wailers". The phenomenal performance of "The Wailers" was at one point additionally complemented with Hornsman Coyote on the trombone. The memorable evening ended with two encores. As the members of "The Wailers" pointed out, this is one of their concerts where they received a handful of good emotions and vibes.
