APRIL, 2019 - JAMES BOND IS BACK IN JAMAICA

The world's most famous film franchise was launched at iconic Golden Eye resort in St Mary, Jamaica. It is the former home of James Bond creator, British author Ian Fleming, where he wrote the 12 novels and two collections of short stories.
Jamaica and James Bond have an inextricable link. The first film Dr No (1962), and Live and Let Die (1973) were shot here and now Bond 25 is back in Jamaica.
The new film, which is still untitled, is directed by American Cary Joji Fukunaga and the role of James Bond will once again play British actor Daniel Craig, which will be his final role as the famous spy.
Jamaican actors including Reggie Carter, Marguerite Lewars and Grace Jones have had screen time in Bond films and the tradition continues as two of the actresses in the new film, have Jamaican heritage.
The film will be released on April 3, 2020.
