This year Jamaica is celebrating 57th year of Independence.

The celebration in Serbia will this year occur on Saturday, 10.08.2019. at Rock Village Festival in Banatski Sokolac (www.rockvillage.org).
The festival became famous in 2008. when Bob Marley’s statue - the first and only one on European soil, was unveiled.
During the day we will promote Jamaican cuisine, coffee and we will sell Jamaican items.

The world's most famous film franchise was launched at iconic Golden Eye resort in St Mary, Jamaica. It is the former home of James Bond creator, British author Ian Fleming, where he wrote the 12 novels and two collections of short stories.
Jamaica and James Bond have an inextricable link. The first film Dr No (1962), and Live and Let Die (1973) were shot here and now Bond 25 is back in Jamaica.
The new film, which is still untitled, is directed by American Cary Joji Fukunaga and the role of James Bond will once again play British actor Daniel Craig, which will be his final role as the famous spy.

09.12.2018. – 17th IWC CHARITY BAZAAR
IWC CHARITY BAZAAR

The 2018. IWC Charity Bazaar was held on December 9th, 2018. This year 32 countries participated. Consulate had a booth and we were promoting Blue Mountain coffee, Jamaican rum, Red Stripe beer and other Jamaican items. Stand was decorated with some items from the Consulate, TV with Jamaica promo video and Bob Marely music was playing all day long. Visitors could also collect free brochures about Jamaica and its tourist attractions. Portions of Jerk chicken with rice and Red Stripe beer were sold very quickly and prepared Blue Mountain coffee went very well too.


01.-06.08.2018. JAMAICA 56 - Independence Festival Village

The best of Jamaica's culture will be on show at the Independence Festival Village, to be staged at the National Arena, in Kingston.

The village, which opens to the public at 12:00 noon daily, will feature a number of family friendly activities, including booth displays, food courts, lunch hour concerts and a children's village.
